New Working Paper: "Financial agglomeration and carbon emissions in China..."

Researchers Xuesong Gu (Beijing Forestry University) and Yuhao Qian (London School of Economics and Political Science) study the link between financial agglomeration and carbon emissions in China using a provincial panel dataset for the period 2005-2016. Their research shows a positive association between the two, with mitigating effects of urbanisation, economic growth and technological progress.
